PLANNNG chiefs at Warrington have put off a decision on proposals to build a three bedroomed, detached house in Oak Street, Croft.
Croft Parish Council and a number of residents have lodged objections to the scheme on the grounds of over-development in the Green Belt and adverse impact on the visual amenity of neighbours.
Neighbours also argue that there will be inadequate parking for the new dwelling or an adjoining existing property.
There are also claims that the property would not be in keeping with other existing property.
But planning officers are recommending the scheme be approved.
They say the house would make a contribution to the council’s housing land supply and would not result in adverse impacts on road safety, harm to the street scene nor to the amenity of neighbours.
The application will be considered again at the next meeting of the committee.
