VIDEO tribute to Warrington Rugby League legend Harry Bath, one of the club’s greatest
ever players and a former World Cup-winning coach, who died in his
native Australia last month (October) at the age of 83 after a long battle with illness.
The DVD was presented to Harry’s widow Gwen by his former club St George.

Gwen, who spent 10 “very” happy years in Warrington with Harry, where the couple where licensees of the old Britannia pub, kindly forwarded the DVD to warrington-worldwide to help Warrington fans remember one of the club’s greatest ever players.

I remember Harry Bath so very well, My late husband and I never missed a game in our home town of Warrington in the UK. He was a great player, we all loved him. Rest in peace Harry.
I will never forget Harry Bath for the way he rallied to the cause to help another former Warrington skipper, Mike Gregory, in his hour of need.
Despite his own failing health Harry sent his Championship winners medal to Warrington to help raise funds for Mike.
RIP Harry – you were simply the best.
