Brolly good show as Warrington walks!

DESPITE the rain it was on with the show as the 175th Warrington

Walking Day took the streets marking a very special day for 88-year-old

George Mockler, (pictured above).
George, who was working with St Mary’s Church, Buttermarket Street, has been walking since he was five, making it is 83rd Warrington Walking Day!
He arrived armed for all weathers with his sun hat and brolly!!
It was also a special day for Ron and Maynard Glover (pictured right) who were walking with St Elphins Parish Church and celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary.
Meanwhile Mary Oultram (pictured below) was celebrating her 70th birthday with daughter Shelly who had flown over from Italy especially for the occasion.
