POLICE investigations are ongoing after the occupants of a BMW car fled the scene after a three-vehicle road traffic collision on Penketh Road, Warrington, on Saturday night.
Shortly before 10 pm one fire crew from Penketh attended reports of a collision on Penketh Road.
Fire crews attended the scene, which involved one car colliding with two empty parked cars. No one was reported as trapped or injured.
Firefighters isolated the batteries to make the vehicles safe and left the incident with the police.
A Cheshire police spokesperson cofirmed today: “At 10.24pm on Saturday 6 June, police were called to reports of a collision on Penketh Road, Great Sankey, Warrington.
“The collision involved a BMW which had collided with two parked cars. The occupants of the BWM fled the scene. Enquiries remain ongoing.”
