A chance to broaden horizons

YOUNGSTERS in Warrington are being offered the chance to broaden their horizons by taking part in a national scheme.
People aged between 14 and 25 can get involved with The Duke of Edinburgh Award, which is being run by Warrington Youth Services.
Taking part in the award helps participants develop their skills and make new friends.
Whether it is taking part in the voluntary sector by helping with elderly people, or developing social interests such as swimming, the Duke of Edinburgh Award is open to all kinds of options.
There will be an information workshop taking place at Walton Hall Gardens on Friday, August 1 from 10am to 4pm.
Anyone requiring more information about the award can contact Sarah Tickle or Christine Marmion at Warrington Youth Services on 01925 443 883.
