A team from Warrington’s Own Buses took on the massive challenge of walking from Blackpool to Warrington in aid of St Rocco’s Hospice- a distance of 45 miles to be walked in just 19 hours!

The entire team made it back in one piece and were greeted at the Golden Gates after walking through the night!
They managed to raise over £2000 which will go so far in helping St. Rocco’s Hospice to continue its care and support to the people of Warrington
“St. Rocco’s is such a great cause and I’m so proud of the entire team for taking part in such a great fundraiser,” said Ben Wakerley, Managing Director of Warrington’s Own Buses.
Nicola Henshaw, Senior Relationships Fundraiser at St. Rocco’s, who was there to make sure the team were welcomed back with applause and cheers, said “It’s so great to be able to work alongside Warrington’s Own Buses and this challenge really shows how dedicated they are to supporting us. Huge congratulations to them all and thank you to everyone who made a donation.”
