LiveWire announce closure of luxury Garden Spa

THE luxury Garden Spa, based at Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub, has become a victim of the COVID-19 pandemic and will not be reopening for business.

The wellness day spa, operated by LiveWire, which attracted rave reviews from visitors, including several “soap stars” has been closed since March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Despite Five Star reviews since launching in February 2019, The Garden Spa was not yet operating at a profit and the potential loss of future custom caused by the pandemic, regretfully means reopening is not financially viable for LiveWire, a Community Interest Company.
Following a consultation period with the affected staff members LiveWire is looking to support employees with redeployment opportunities across the wider organisation to ensure any redundancies are kept to a minimum.
LiveWire would also like to thank all The Garden Spa customers for their support.
LiveWire are now reviewing options for the empty space.

Soap star celebrities who visited the premises included actress Kym Marsh from Coronation Street, who followed in the celeb footsteps of Hayley Tamaddon, Brooke Vincent and Julia Goulding along with Cheshire Housewife Lauren Simons and Hollyoaks’ Ruby O’Donnell.
Hayley shared a photo on her Instagram account of the three women comparing their bumps while enjoying a pregnancy-tailored spa day at the luxury spa.

  1. Covid or not an awful lot of time and money has been spent on the Great Sankey Hub. Which was a long time in the making, due to some questionable actions by Live Wire. Since then every photo opportunity has been grabbed by Live Wire to promote this facility. Meanwhile, LW’s other obligations which are just as important, seem to have played second fiddle, and doesn’t it show. LW needs to start putting some effort to improving other facilities across the borough, if they don’t they will deteriorate further.
