Win stand naming rights at Warrington Town

WARRINGTON Town have launched a Stand Sponsorship Raffle to give local businesses and fans the chance to rename one of the stands at Cantilever Park.

Ahead of the new season, which is scheduled to start on September 19, the club is raising funds by raffling naming rights to the Cantilever bridge end of the ground.

Tickets can be bought for £100, with a live draw to take place next month with manager Paul Carden to pick the winner.

Two runner-up prizes of an advertising board and a season ticket are also available.

Club chairman, Toby Macormac, said: “We wanted to run something similar last summer but never quite got round to it, so now seems like the perfect time – as a good way to generate funds for the club and also to provide an opportunity for someone to win a sponsorship deal at a fraction of its value.

“We’re also looking forward to using this as an opportunity to engage with local businesses ahead of the return of football, as we look to get back on track with our ambitions to move up the football pyramid.”
