MUMBLE, the Eagle Owl who flew the nest at his home at Great Sankey, Warrington, is still missing.
Police are still appealing for help from the public in tracing the 2ft 6 inch tall bird.
He was last seen near a pond at Livingstone Close, Great Sankey.
Mumble is not aggressive – but police are warning members of the
public not to approach him if they see him because of his sheer size.
His wing span is put at 5-6 ft.
Mumble is owned by a falconer from the Great Sankey area and has been hand reared, so is used to being around people.
He often takes part in displays at carnivals and fetes. In the wild he would hunt at night, with small animals as prey.
Pet owners are being warned to be on their guard as he could take rabbits or guinea pigs.
The bird is brown, with large orange eyes and large feet.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call police on 0845 458 0000.
