Last chance to have your say on the town’s nightlife

TIME is running out for residents to give your views on how we can make Warrington’s nightlife better for all.

The council’s ‘Night Time Economy’ consultation closes on October 25. It aims to get people’s opinions on Warrington’s current night time offer, and how it can be made more welcoming, vibrant and safe. So far, more than 600 responses have been received.

The survey is asking local residents to comment on their experiences of nightlife across the town, with a focus on the cultural quarter, Bridge Street and Stockton Heath.

There are questions around the numbers and types of bars and restaurants available, their opening hours and any effect that these premises, and the people who use them, have on the local community.

There is also an opportunity for people to let the douncil know the types of establishments they would like to see opening in Warrington.

All information from the consultation will help shape the future of Warrington’s night time economy and inform the council’s licensing policies to consider local need
