Ticket sales for Warrington’s first ever FamFest are on the way and tickets are already flying off the shelves, according to numerous reports.

The open-air festival, which is the brainchild of Wire FM’s founder Pete Pinnington, promises a weekend full of activities, concerts, and other notable events for the whole family.

Family-Friendly Events

While the event is largely family oriented, the organisation is doing everything in their power to make the event enjoyable for people of all ages. Families will have the chance to see a live performance from Mister Maker and the cast from the Basil Brush Show. There will also be performances from the Minions and other notable Disney characters. And don’t be surprised if you run into notable characters like Darth Vader and his stormtroopers, Ironman, and even the Hulk while walking around the festival.

Notable Performances

Plenty of adult-friendly events will also be taking place during the festival and music lovers will be coming from far and wide to enjoy some of the well-known names. Those coming from Birmingham Airport should make sure that they arrive early and use a Birmingham meet and greet airport parking service, to avoid any delays getting to the festival.

The festival will run from 11 AM to 10 PM and feature a variety of activities throughout the day. Event goers can expect to see more family-friendly activities early in the day, although the schedule will be packed throughout the event.

On Saturday, you can expect to see tributes for Will Smith, Madonna, Britney Spears. Mo Jamil, Warringtonian, and the winner of BBC’s The Voice in 2017 are also set to perform on the main stage. Sunday will feature a huge line-up of artist tributes including Taylor Swift, The Killers, Coldplay, George Michael, Jesse J, and more.

Festival Zones

One of the great aspects of the festival is that the makers have designated certain zones for specific activities. Visitors will have the chance to take on the Sports Zone, which should feature a few physical challenges for the whole family.  There will also be a Princess Pamper Pavilion for younger kids. Kids and even adults may want to visit the circus skills activities or see what’s in store in the Character Zone.

When you’re not taking in shows or other events at the festival, make sure that you enjoy some amazing foods and drinks. There will be a fully licensed bar and a VIP marquee if you feel like taking your entertainment up a notch.

To enjoy everything that the festival has to offer, visitors can buy tickets that will let them into all the major areas. There are also options to upgrade to VIP, family VIP or weekend tickets if they’re intending to stay for both days of the event.

Conclusion

The FamFest is already set to be a success and should be a great entertaining weekend for the whole family. Tickets are on sale at www.famfestwarrington.co.uk with early bird discounts on the first 2,000 tickets sold, so get your spot early while they’re still available.
