Slidie Sliderson, the £2.5m indoor slide park, is set to open its doors at Cockhedge Shopping Centre next month, bringing a new family entertainment attraction to Warrington.
Described by its creators as the UK’s first wholly owned and operated hybrid slide park, it will officially open on Friday, October 23.
The 25,000 sq ft attraction is being developed by Rocafella Leisure Group, the company behind Total Ninja, and is expected to create 38 new jobs in the town.
The venue will combine giant dry slides with a range of other activities, including soft play, interactive sports attractions, batting cages, AR darts, shuffleboard, pool, table tennis and arcade games.
There will also be food and drink available, with street food vendors forming part of the experience.
The slides will be water-free, meaning visitors will be able to use them throughout the year regardless of the weather.
Two attractions – Strike Lab™, a football arcade, and Gloww Lab, an AI entertainment studio – are also set to make their Warrington debuts at Slidie Sliderson.
The company originally announced the project in 2025, with the previous opening originally scheduled as far back as February this year.
