A Warrington man has been jailed for more than five years after police found cocaine, cash and drug-related equipment at his home.
Michael Boardman, 36, of Mersey Street, Warrington, was sentenced to five years and seven months in prison when he appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, September 25.
Boardman had previously pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of cannabis and possession of criminal property.
Police executed a drugs warrant at his address in July 2026.
Officers found Boardman in the bathroom, where he appeared to be attempting to flush items down the toilet.
After being detained, he told officers: “It’s in the cupboard in the kitchen.”
The cupboard contained around £1,600 worth of cocaine, cash, digital scales and snap bags, along with personal quantities of cannabis.
Boardman was subsequently charged with the offences.
Detective Sergeant Alexander Reeves said the sentence reflected the seriousness of his involvement in the supply of cocaine.
He added: “Illegal drugs have a devastating effect on our streets, and we are committed to bringing those who exploit this to justice.
“Anyone with any information about drug-related activity in their community should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or report information through our website and we will do the rest.”
