FORMER England rugby union star and Strictly Come Dancing star, Austin Healy has joined with Spire Healthcare to promote its newly revamped website.
The scrum half who earned 51 caps and, inevitably suffered injuries, visiting his local Spire hospital about 200 times during his career for the treatment of sports injuries and physiotherapy sessions.
He said: “I would not hesitate to recommend the treatment and care I received with Spire. I know from experience that it is the place where the leading consultants work, supported by teams of highly skilled and dedicated staff.
“Over the years playing international rugby I had my wisdom teeth and jaw realigned, my left shoulder and knee reconstructed, a torn Achilles and micro fracture fixed, my toes sewn back together as well as several dozen physiotherapy sessions and x-rays.
“The fact that I have such mobility and was able to dance and compete in Strictly is testament to the treatment I received.”
