BIRCHWOOD was the scene for Brainwave’s annual Santa Dash this December.
On a mild, but dampish Sunday morning, Santa’s of all ages started to gather at 8.15 outside The Peacock pub by the Birchwood Centre. There were big Santa’s, little Santa’s, tiny Santa’s, Santa dogs and even Santa firemen who were all eager to help raise funds for Brainwave.
Brainwave, based in Birchwood, works with children who have significant developmental delay and through personalised programmes the therapists at the Centre intend to make sure that every child they work with can achieve his or her potential.
A special thanks go to all who took part in the Dash and who, through their sponsorship, have raised money for the Charity. They would also like to give a great big thank you to their sponsors Birchwood Centre and Baker Mallett and also to The Peacock pub and to the staff at Asda for all their support.
