Sci-Tech Daresbury has appointed The University of Manchester to join its Gold partner programme alongside long-standing member The University of Liverpool and several other specialist organisations.
The appointment will further strengthen the support available to businesses across the campus and its wider innovation network, providing access to a growing network of specialist partners and academic expertise.
Through its annual partner programme, Sci-Tech Daresbury brings together organisations with specialist expertise to provide practical support and advice to ambitious science, technology and innovation businesses based across the campus.
The latest partner cohort will give companies access to expertise spanning collaborative research, technology innovation and commercialisation, insurance, marketing, finance, intellectual property and legal services, helping them access the specialist knowledge and connections they need to grow and scale.
The University of Manchester joins a strong group of long-term partners including The University of Liverpool, Konsileo, Grant Thornton, David Antrobus Marketing, Marks & Clerk, Slater Heelis and RTC North*, who provide the Innovate UK Business Growth support in the North West
Together, the two universities will help connect companies with leading research institutions, academic expertise and opportunities for collaboration, as well as providing access to the student and graduate talent in both institutions.
Together these organisations provide businesses with access to a broad range of specialist support, removing some of the barriers companies can face when trying to identify the right expertise and professional services to support their next stage of growth. This is delivered through a range of events, workshops, masterclasses, surgeries and our Pitchfest programme providing free and discounted support to campus companies.
