A charity weekend at Gulliver’s World this month offers families a fun-packed adventure, while helping raise funds for local charities.
The special weekend in support of the hospices takes place on Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13.
Standard entry to the theme park in Warrington over that weekend costs just £17 per person, with £2.50 of each ticket sold donated to local hospices to help them continue their vital work.
Craig Clews, resort director at Gulliver’s World, said: “We are always looking at ways to support our community and our charity weekends each year always prove incredibly popular with families. We are collecting an overall sum that will then be distributed amongst a variety of local charities, so we can help as many people as possible.
“It will be great to welcome families for these two days and support such worthwhile causes.”
Visitors to the theme park for charity weekend will find more than 50 fantastic rides, attractions, shows and activities to enjoy.
These include the Pirate Ship, Desperado Drop, Antelope Wooden Coaster, Togo Tower and amazing animatronic dinosaurs.
In the Gulliver’s Gears car-themed area, there are two exciting rides – the Grand Prix Racer rollercoaster, and Overdrive, a 360-degree thrill and one of Gulliver’s most daring rides.
The park is also home to the dazzling Upside Down House, which defies gravity by turning everything on its head, and two recent additions – the Winged Monkeys Wicked-inspired adventure, and the Munchkin Motors, where families can drive through the Land of Oz looking for its much-loved characters.
