St. Rocco’s Hospice is inviting schools, nurseries, youth groups and children’s organisations across Warrington to sign up for its popular Elf & Reindeer Run 2026, with organisers hoping to make this year’s festive fundraiser the biggest one yet.
The free-to-enter fundraising event, which takes place throughout December, gives children of all ages and abilities the opportunity to run, walk, skip, hop or dance their way around a course of their choice while raising vital funds to support local hospice care.
Following the success of last year’s event, in which over 5,500 children took part and raised more than £26,000 for St. Rocco’s Hospice, the charity is encouraging even more groups to get involved and help make a difference for local patients and their loved ones this Christmas.
All who sign up will receive a free elf hat or pair of reindeer antlers for each child, as well a full range of fundraising resources, including a ready-made school assembly video, sponsorship materials, parent information letters and certificates. One lucky member of staff can even dress as Santa with a complimentary Santa suit provided by the hospice.
Groups can choose a date that suits them throughout December and set their own distance, making the event flexible and easy to fit around existing festive activities.
Funds raised through the Elf & Reindeer Run will help St. Rocco’s Hospice continue providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care, along with emotional and practical support for patients and their loved ones across the local community.

Places are available now, but supplies of elf hats, reindeer antlers and sponsorship materials are limited.
