WARRINGTON darts sensation Luke Littler has made a winning return to the European Tour in Prague – and the teenage star is already looking ahead to another busy spell of major tournaments.
The 19-year-old world number one produced an impressive display at the Czech Darts Open, beating Germany’s Niko Springer 6-4 in his first European Tour appearance since March.
Littler, who has enjoyed a remarkable 2026 season, averaged an outstanding 108.59 in Prague as he continued his return to competitive action following a six-and-a-half-week break. Despite admitting he had not been particularly happy with his practice beforehand, “The Nuke” quickly rediscovered his form on the big stage.
The Warrington youngster did have to withstand a late fightback from Springer, who reduced the deficit to 5-4, but Littler held his nerve to close out the match and book his place in the final day of action.
His reward is a last-16 meeting with experienced Polish star Krzysztof Ratajski at the PVA EXPO in Prague on Sunday afternoon. Ratajski reached the third round with a 6-2 victory over Jermaine Wattimena.
Littler will be hoping to go deep into the tournament as he resumes his challenge for yet more silverware after an extraordinary year.
The Warrington star has already collected the World Championship, World Masters, UK Open, Premier League and World Matchplay titles in 2026, while he is also the defending World Grand Prix champion.
What’s next for Littler?
Prague is only the start of another packed run for the world number one and a £100,000 winner’s prize on offer.
He will then turn his attention to the World Grand Prix, which takes place at Leicester’s Mattioli Arena from September 28 to October 4.
Littler is the defending champion there after beating Luke Humphries in the 2025 final. Victory this year would take him another step closer to an extraordinary clean sweep of the sport’s biggest titles.
For now, however, all eyes will be on Prague – and another opportunity for Warrington’s teenage darts superstar to add to what has already been a phenomenal 2026.
