Body sadly found in search for missing teenage woman

A body has sadly been found following a search for a missing teenage woman at Winwick, Warrington.

At around 9 pm on Wednesday, 27 May, police were called to reports that a 19-year-old woman had gone missing from the Hollins Lane area of Warrington.

Following a number of enquiries, officers were deployed and commenced a search of the area.
Sadly, a body was located in nearby parkland on Thursday, 28 May.
While formal identification has yet to take place, it is believed to be that of the missing woman.
There are no suspicious circumstances.
Her next of kin have been informed and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
