The Ambersons headlined new music venue, Brickhaus

Warrington’s new music venue, Brickhaus, was officially opened by local band The Ambersons who headlined to a full house.

You might remember Brickhaus as Eden or FC2 but the doors had been shut for a long time. The venue had seen some DJ nights there but that Saturday had its first live artists on the stage and the renovation has made it an excellent choice to watch live music. The night opened with Red Jaspers, a young band whose first single Tsunami! has been quite popular on streaming services and social media. Following them, Ameritz live show regulars Containers brought a large crowd, their usual stage confidence and a new single, Dead Forever. The vibrant Belmont and the Stocks, an established band within the Warrington music scene were the main support act and delivered their usual energy and upbeat personalities right before The Ambersons took the stage. The six-piece played their classics, which the fans sang and danced along to. Those who attended were also given a sneak peek into some of the tracks featured on the upcoming album.
The night was a success and started the year on a high for The Ambersons. They have many more exciting events to come, which we are excited to share with you over the next couple of months.

GONDOLAS next single released on Friday 20th February. The band have moved away from their grungy rock sound in You Know That and have taken inspiration from Wunderhorse and Fontaines D.C. for this reflective track. If you’d like to hear it live they are supporting Creeping Jean at Liverpool’s Jacaranda on Slater Street on Thursday 26th February followed by another support slot in Liverpool for Sky Valley Mistress at Archive, Cains Brewery Village on Saturday 3rd March. You can find ticket links over on GONDOLAS socials.
