Warrington & Vale Royal College has welcomed hundreds of Year 11 pupils and their families to this year’s Open Evenings, and is getting ready to open the doors for its final Open Evening of the academic year at Warrington campus on Wednesday 20th November.
This is the last chance for school leavers, their families and friends to visit the Warrington campus and find out more about the range of courses on offer.
With a number of technical courses and the widest range of T Levels in Warrington, the college’s practical approach to learning appeals to many young people. Open Evenings provide school leavers a fantastic opportunity to explore the career-focused courses first hand, as well as experiencing the dynamic and inclusive environment at the college.
At this final Open Evening, visitors have the chance to explore cutting-edge facilities, meet expert tutors, and learn about the five specialist training academies at the Warrington campus. £13 million has recently been invested into the college, meaning these academies are able equip young people with the crucial skills needed for careers in the most in-demand sectors locally in areas including Health & Social Care, Creative & Digital and Engineering. This year will also see the launch of the Business & Professional Academy and the Construction & Civil Engineering Academy, both designed to lead the way in training the next generation of skilled professionals in these key industries.
