Community activist to stand as independent at Orford

LOCAL business owner Carol Kilgannon is to stand as Independent Candidate for Orford in May 2024.

Carol, a respected community activist and small business owner in Orford, says she is “proud” to announce her candidacy as an Independent for the Warrington Borough Council, Orford Ward. Carol, the heart behind ‘Helping Hands’, combines her philanthropic spirit and entrepreneurial acumen to offer a new direction in local politics.

Carol passionately states, “I am stepping forward to serve Orford as an independent voice. My campaign, ‘Your Voice, Our Community, Real Change’, is a commitment to invigorate local government with fresh perspectives, unburdened by partisan constraints.
“Orford deserves more. For too long, our community has navigated the turbulent waters of party politics, often leaving our real needs unaddressed. I’m here to alter that narrative. As a resident and active community member, your concerns are mine. I pledge to listen, understand, and act decisively, putting Orford’s needs above party agendas.
