A Warrington trading card and pop-culture shop has been targeted by burglars who stole an estimated £10,000 to £20,000 worth of stock after forcing their way into the premises.

Celestial Collectables, based on Lovely Lane, was burgled on Sunday, November 1, with two unknown offenders gaining entry after apparently using a power tool to remove the business’s security gate.

Once inside, the intruders smashed through a rear door before stealing a quantity of stock.
Owner Chris Grundy has now appealed to local residents and motorists to check their CCTV and dashcam footage in the hope of identifying those responsible and recovering the stolen items.
He said the offenders appeared to have used some sort of power tool to pull off the security gate before smashing their way through the back door.
The value of the stolen stock is estimated to be between £10,000 and £20,000, representing a significant loss for the independent business.
Chris is particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured suspicious activity around Lovely Lane on the evening of Sunday, November 1, or who has footage of vehicles or individuals acting suspiciously in the area.
