Man charged with aggravated burglary following armed police incident at Orford

DETECTIVES have charged a man in connection with an aggravated burglary in Warrington, following an armed police incident at Orford on Thursday.

Kayne Price-Evans was detained at around 12pm on Thursday 9 December following a warrant executed at an address on Dudley Street.

The 29-year-old, of Dalton Bank in Fairfield and Howley, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

A 25-year-old woman was also arrested at the address on Dudley Street on suspicion of assisting an offender. Rosie Frankish, of Wellfield Street in Warrington, has since been charged.

Price-Evans has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Warrington Magistrates Court, today, Saturday 11 December. Frankish was bailed to Warrington Magistrates Court on Saturday 11 December.

Meanwhile, A 37-year-old man was arrested at an address on Knutsford Road in Warrington at around 6pm on Monday 6 December. Thomas Quinn, of Chantler Avenue in Latchford, has also been charged with aggravated burglary and possessing criminal property.

He has been remanded in custody and appeared at Warrington Magistrates Court on Wednesday 8 December. He is next due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 5 January 2022.

The charges relate to an aggravated burglary that occurred at 7.45am on Monday 6 December at an address on Greenings Court in Fairfield and Howley. A 30-year-old woman sustained minor facial injuries that were treated by paramedics.
