AN ongoing investigation is taking place following an armed police incident at Orford, Warrington earlier today.
Numerous officers, including armed police descended on a property on Orford Lane, earlier today.
Eye witness reports said two people, a man and a woman, were led away from a flat in the area. The police helicopter was also seen over head.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “The current policing activity in Orford relates to an ongoing investigation.
“Please be reassured a live incident is not taking place in the area and more information will be provided in due course.”
