Warrington’s third Climate Emergency Forum is back this November, bringing a series of events designed to spark local action and conversation around the climate crisis.
The programme has been co-ordinated by Warrington’s Climate Emergency Commission and supported by local community groups and charities who have organised or contributed to events across the town.
Warrington’s Climate Emergency Commission was established in 2019 to lead the local public conversation on the climate emergency – including the direction we need to be heading and what we can do in Warrington to help.
Cllr Tony Higgins, cabinet member for climate change, sustainability and the environment, said:
“The Climate Emergency Forum is a fantastic opportunity for our communities to come together, share ideas and take practical steps to tackle the climate crisis.
“These events show how small actions, like repairing items or learning more about biodiversity, can make a big difference. I encourage everyone to get involved and be part of the change.”
