This Halloween night, dogs and their owners are invited to don their best spooky costumes and join Warrington-based No More Kennels for a 5-mile “Spooky Charity Dog Walk.”
The walk will raise vital funds for Care for the Paw, a Liverpool-based charity that helps homeless people across the North West care for their dogs.
The walk sets off from No More Kennels in Warrington at 6pm on Friday 31st October, following the scenic Trans Pennine Trail and finishing at the Ferry Tavern.
Founded by Rebeckah Vaughan, No More Kennels is known for its luxury dog hotel and daycare centre, but this Halloween it’s turning its attention to supporting those most in need, people living on the streets with their beloved dogs.
“Care for the Paw do incredible work making sure homeless people and their dogs don’t go without food, vet care or warmth,” said Rebeckah. “Every donation helps them continue that work, and what better way to raise money than a spooky walk with our dogs?”
Participants are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes – both humans and dogs – and get sponsored to take part. Those who can’t join the walk can still contribute by donating to the official fundraiser.
