Longest resident cat seeks permanent home

THE longest resident cat at Warrington Cats Protection is seeking a forever home.

Sebastian is just two years old and has already spent 137 days of his life at Cats Protection Warrington Cat Centre, after being found as a stray.
He is a happy and chatty cat who would love to find a permanent place to call home.
Adoption Centre Manager, Lindsey Kerr, said: “When Sebastian first arrived, he was initially nervous but once he settled in, he quickly started to show off his true affectionate and loving nature. He’s also very chatty and a renowned winner at biscuit making!
“While we don’t know much about his history, we do know that he loves human company. Every day, he patiently waits on his table or by the door of his pen to see who is coming to meet him and give him a fuss. Like most cats, when he gets a little overexcited, he may occasionally give a gentle nip.”
Sebastian has been found to have a heart murmur. This is not causing him any issues currently, but his new owner will need to monitor his condition.

Lindsey continued: “Sebastian’s heart will need some monitoring, but many cats with murmurs live long and healthy lives so we’d hate for this to be the reason why he is being overlooked.
“He is now our centre’s longest resident, and we would love to find him the perfect home. He is a fabulous cat and would make a wonderful companion.
