WARRINGTON Wolves will face Leigh Leopards in the Challenge Cup semi-finals after seeing off St Helens in the last eight.

George Williams scored the decisive try to send them through with a 20-12 victory in the second of three meetings between the two sides in a six week period.

Williams put the first try of the match on for Matt Dufty with a nice inside pass, but Saints squared it up three minutes before half-time through Tristan Sailor, who touched down from Jonny Lomax’s kick.

A Marc Sneyd penalty edged Warrington 8-6 in front in the second half before a Williams kick sat up for Ben Currie to touch down.

Daryl Clark scored against his former club to drag Saints back in to it at 14-12 before Williams danced through to score on the right and put the Wolves within 80 minutes of a Wembley return.
