FOUR-year-old boxer-husky cross Charlie arrived at RSPCA Warrington after his owner had decided he had too many dogs.
He is being cared for on behalf of RSPCA Altrincham and at the time of writing, he has had no interest that was suitable for him.
Because of his previous care in a busy home, he has had to compete for limited food so his ideal home would be without another dog.
Staff at the centre say he gets along well with other dogs when out walking and exploring but living with another dog may bring back some sad memories. Charlie is an easy going dog, enjoys new places to explore and will happily ignore any cats he notices and is well behaved at the vets. He is a typical husky who will listen to what he wants with the odd howl – him talking which he does.
Charlie is scared of children trying to communicate with them so wouldn’t be advisable living with children. He enjoys fuss from humans but can lose interest and definitely enjoys being pampered and groomed. Charlie walks great on a lead and ignores traffic too and just wants an easy going home.
