HUNDREDS of car enthusiasts descended on the annual North West Casual Classic’s Car Club event held at the Burtonwood Heritage Centre site at Gulliver’s World at the weekend.

Visitors took a trip down memory lane as North West Casual Classic’s Car Club displayed numerous vehicles, including some military vehicles, all of an extremely high standard.

The event also helped boost the number of visitors to the Burtonwood Association Heritage Museum on the site.

The RAF Burtonwood Heritage Centre is situated at Gulliver’s World, itself situated on part of the RAF Burtonwood Airbase.
Admission to the Heritage Centre is free, as a donation-based charity. The entrance is situated on Gulliver’s World car park. The Centre is normally open to the General Public Wednesday to Sunday 2:30 pm until 5.00pm although it is possible to arrange visits outside these hours by prior arrangement. It isn’t necessary to go into the Theme Park to gain entrance to the Heritage Centre.
If you are visiting Gulliver’s World a visit to the Heritage Centre is included in your entrance fee to the park.
