LEISURE provider LiveWire is giving out free seven-day ‘Road to Fitness’ passes to whole streets in Warrington as part of a new promotion to encourage people to take up healthy lifestyles.

Every week a different street in Warrington will receive a free 7-day pass to LiveWire leisure sites as part of the company’s new ‘Road to Fitness’ promotion.

LiveWire, the community interest company that manages leisure services on behalf of Warrington Borough Council, is launching the new promotion to help promote healthy living and to give local people the chance to try out its sites.

Residents are being urged to keep an eye on their letterbox in case their street is chosen to receive a free
7-day LiveWire leisure pass as part of the campaign.

Every week a different road in the borough will be chosen, with each house receiving a free 7-day pass through the door that can be exchanged at any LiveWire centre for one free adult weekly pass that will give access to a range of facilities including gym, swim, exercise classes and racket sports.

LiveWire’s leisure sites are now fully reopened following the lockdowns of the past 18-months, with the newest site, Bewsey & Dallam Community Hub due to open next month.

Kevin Forester, Commercial Director of LiveWire, said: “It has been fantastic reopening our sites and seeing our members enjoying getting back to their exercise regimes. But we want to help even more people get their fitness back on track following lockdowns, which is why we are launching our ‘Road to Fitness’ promotion. Each week one lucky street will receive a free week-long pass, which we hope will encourage people to come along to one of our leisure sites and give exercising with LiveWire a try. If you’re already a member, then feel free to pass along your pass to a friend or family member.”

The Road to Fitness scheme will be running for the next few months, with each street being announced on social media and the LiveWire website.

LiveWire’s leisure sites are: Bewsey & Dallam Hub (opening November), Birchwood Tennis & Leisure Complex, Broomfields Leisure Centre, Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub, Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub and Woolston Neighbourhood Hub.
