CHRISTMAS services at St Mary’s Church, Lymm will be “ticket only.”
The Rector, the Rev Beverley Jameson, says the church has to limit the number of people attending the Christmas services and advises parishioners to apply early for the free tickets.
She said: “We will still have our usual Sunday and YouTube services, but it is very special to be in church for the Christmas period. In order to manage numbers, free tickets for the Carol concert, Christingle, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services can be obtained from our website, www.stmaryslymm.org or via the following links:

COVID restrictions mean the congregation cannot sing at any of the services.
But the church choir can, so there will be music.
The Rev Jameson added: ““Christmas is a very special time, particularly after this difficult year. Due to COVID we cannot fill the church as in previous years so I hope people will book early to avoid disappointment.”
There will be a one-way system in church, together with social distancing markings and the congregation will have to wear masks at all times.
