PUPILS from Croft Primary School took part in an interactive PowerWise safety session at Safety Central safety centre as part of SP Energy Networks’ PowerWise Month.
PowerWise is an online educational resource packed full of fun missions, video and tasks. It has been developed by the business to help children understand how to stay safe around electricity at home, at school or when playing outside. It also teaches them how electricity is generated and gets from the power station to plug.
SP Energy Networks is encouraging parents and teachers to visit powerwise.org.uk and challenge their children to take part in a fun safety mission with Sparky the PowerWise mascot. The company owns and manages overhead and underground powerlines in Cheshire as well as Merseyside, North Wales, North Shropshire and Southern and Central Scotland.
