Fast track degree for business students

AN innovative fast-track business degree programme, giving students the skills they need to graduate in just two years, has been launched at the Warrington Campus of the University of Chester.
Warrington School of Management, based at the Padgate campus, has been successful in gaining approval for an accelerated two-year honours degree programme in business.
The programme has all the features and quality of a traditional three year degree programme, but by studying for longer in each year students can achieve the award sooner.
Professor Lawrence Bellamy, Deputy Provost of the Warrington Campus and Associate Dean (International) for the Faculty of Business and Management, said: “The BSc Honours in Business allows students to accelerate their learning, spending one less year at university and therefore one more year in work.
“It still has work-experience and applied projects embedded too, so will be great for a student CV. Students will have to work hard and remain committed to the programme in order to achieve the qualification.
“Also, under the charging system for degree programmes in England, the fee is per year and so students will save a year of fees and a year of living expenses for a two year ‘fast-track’ programme.”
The course will be commencing in September next year and application should be made through the usual UCAS system. Details for the programme can be found at http://www.chester.ac.uk/undergraduate/business-fast-track or for more information email [email protected]
