WARRINGTON leisure and lifestyle provider LiveWire is launching an exciting new fitness pilot project next week for women and girls as part of the national “This Girl Can” campaign.
Women and girls aged 14-25 are being invited to take part in  the new scheme where they can get to try out exciting activities such as horse riding, indoor wall climbing, archery and golf as well as tennis, running, trampoline classes and women only boxing.
The programme costs just £25 for 12 weeks of fun and fitness with access to LiveWire’s classes, pools and gyms as part of the offer.
With a £1 million investment recently taking place at LiveWire’s fitness suites across the town, there has never been a better time to see what is on offer.
“This Girl Can” is a national campaign developed by Sport England and a wide range of partnership organisations. It’s a celebration of active women up and down the country who are doing their thing no matter how well they do it, how they look or even how red their face gets!
The Warrington project is supported by and funded by Active Cheshire as part of their Active Anywhere fund in a bid to get more people more active more often.
The programme launches on Tuesday (January 26) at 6.30pm at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub where young women and girls can find out more and sign up.
Places on the programme are limited, so anyone who wants to be involved should contact Louise Shannon from the Active LiveWire Team on 01925 624996 or email [email protected]
