House smokelogged by log burner

A HOUSE was filled with dense smoke at Warrington – after unsuitable material was placed in a log burner.
The incident was in Whitfield Avenue, Fearnhead short after 8pm last night and forced occupants to vacate the property temporarily.
One fire engine attended the scene and firefighters used water back packs to deal with the fire.
There were no reports of injuries.
