Indoor bowling is booming

WARRINGTON Indoor Longmat Bowling Club is more than doubling its capacity to meet demand during the coming winter season.
The club – based at Birchwood Leisure and Tennis Centre – enjoyed an outstanding success during its first season, last winter.
For the new season there will 16 team leagues, bowling on four mats, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons and Friday evenings.
Registrations are now being taken for squad of up to 10 bowlers, five of who play in any one game.
The season starts in October and runs until March.
