FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington were called to a residential road when vandals set fire to a number of wheeled bins.
The incident was off Tidal Lane, Padgate where fire crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
Police are asking members of the public who may have seen anyone starting the fires to call 0845 458 000 or the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
There was no damage to any property other than the bins.
The fire service was also called to a house in Hallows Avenue, Orford, where a wheeled bin had been set alight in the garden. A hose reel jet was used to tackle the flames and again there was no damage to other property.
