PLAIN clothes police helped capture a wanted man who was seen in the Stockton Heath area of Warrington.

Warrington south and Warrington central beat officers had been out in plain clothes on Saturday afternoon on the look out for a male, wanted for a number of shoplifting offences across Warrington.
A local PCSO, who was out on foot in The Forge received a report of a male matching the description of the wanted male, acting suspiciously near to Marks & Spencer’s.
Plain clothed officers made to the area and intercepted the male in the Latchford area a short time later.
