BROOMFIELDS Leisure Centre is becoming the hub of badminton for the Warrington area.
The Appleton centre is now home to the only junior badminton club in the borough. It runs on Wednesday evenings from 5pm to 6pm, and is open to players aged between eight and 16 at a cost of £2 per session.
Further details are available by contacting Claire Wright, regional officer Cheshire 07901005314 or emailing [email protected]
Pay and Play No Strings sessions are also available at the centre for anyone over 16, no matter what their playing ability. Sessions are organised by a friendly, Badminton England level 1 coach.
They are on Saturdays, 10am to 11am, and Mondays, 6pm to 7pm, at £3.50 per session.
