Town on the rise?

WARRINGTON Town enjoyed their best ever start to the season going 12 games unbeaten, including in a decent run in the money spinning FA Cup, just missing out on making the 4th qualifying round for only the second time in the club’s 60 year history.
Their unbeaten run included hosting the newly reformed former football league outfit Chester FC which attracted a bumper sell out 1,500 crowd – another first for Warrington Town.
To mark the club’s achievements manager Joey Dunn won the Evo-Stik Division One North Manager of the Month aware for September – a first for Joey who praised a team effort for his success.
Another positive step forward has seen the club linking up with the highly successful Warrington Schoolboys set up through the club’s principal sponsors Warrington Collegiate.
With crowds also starting to show a healthy increase, a new Vice Presidents sponsors lounge and a new snack bar facility following improvement works on the ground, Warrington are certainly aiming to be a club on the rise, with the main goal this season of making the end of season play offs.
Town will be at home today against fellow play-off contenders AFC Fylde at Cantilever park, kick off 3pm. Admission is £7 for adults, £4 for concessions, £2 for U16s and FREE to U12s. Admission is also free to warrington Collegiate students and Warrington Borough Transport Saver Card holders.
