STAFF at a Warrington hotel have scooped a local business award.
The training and development team at the Park Royal Hotel, Stretton, won the training and development award at the Warrington Business Awards.
Now in their 11th year, the awards celebrate the achievement of businesses across the borough and the contribution made to the local community. More than 250 guests attended the ceremony and gala dinner.
Jacquie Hanson, hotel general manager, said: “We are delighted to have won the training and development award; it gives the whole team a real sense of pride and kudos.
“Winning this award demonstrates our commitment to investing in our people, in what is currently still a turbulent economic climate.”
Judges praised the hotel for its, “continued investment in the development of both managers and employees which has seen the hotel receive consistently high scores on guest feedback surveys and in online guest reviews.”
