Survey on skateboarding

SKATEBOARDING could return to Birchwood if there is enough local demand.
A public consultation is taking place on whether to regenerate an abandoned skateboard park next to Locking Stumps Primary School for public use.
Locking Stumps Primary School Council, Frontis and The Birchwood Partnership are trying to establish the level of public support by an online survey.
Esstta Hayes, of The Birchwood Partnership, said: “The skateboard park has been rarely used by the public. We hope to transfer it back to its original state – a safe place for young people to enjoy.
“All we need is for people to give us feedback about the regeneration and tell us how they feel it should be regenerated.”
Anyone who replies to the survey by May 21 will be entered into a free draw with prizes including store vouchers and a family pass to Chester Zoo.
The survey is at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/skatepark
