Firefighters tackle forklift truck blaze and car fire

FIRE crews  from Warrington were called out to tackle a forklift truck blaze at commercial premises and a car fire in the town.

At 17:13 on Friday evening two crews were called to reports of a fire at commercial premises at Athertons Quay

Firefighters used one hose reel to put out a fire involving a forklift truck. There were no reports of any injuries.

Then at 06:30 today, Saturday,  one crew was called to Fox Street, Warrington. where firefighters used one hose reel and breathing apparatus to put out a car fire.

Then at  11:57 one crew was called to Dudley Street, Warrington, where firefighters used one hose reel to put out a small fire in an alleyway at the rear of a property.
