Horticultural heroes plant 300,000 wildflower seeds

A TEAM of horticultural heroes from Warrington’s Alderman Bolton Primary School has just planted 300,000 wildflower seeds.
The youngsters worked hard to transform a messy piece of land off Longdin Street, Latchford.
A mix of around 30 different types of flower was used, aimed at attracting bees and butterflies.
The project is a recreation of a wild flower paradise the pupils made last year which brought enlived the local area.
After the scattering of seeds the youngsters did a the shuffly dance to trample them in.
The project was provided for free by The Eden Gardens.
