POLICE at Warrington will this evening be issuing a dispersal order for the area of the Westbrook Centre, Westbrook.
It will run for 48 hours, ending at 5pm on Sunday and will give a constable in uniform the power to direct any person who is in a public place in this locality not to return to the locality for the whole of the period of the order.
The order is being issued for the purpose of removing or reducing the likelihood of members of the public in the locality being harassed, alarmed or distressed by crime or disorder, and more particularly by youth anti-social behaviour.
Any person issued with a dispersal notice must leave the area immediately.
Police are taking the action following a number of complaints of anti-social behaviour in the area recently.
