Draper “breath of fresh air” at Wolves says Smith

VIDEO interview with Warrington Wolves Head of Coaching Tony Smith, who says Chief Executive Roger Draper has been a breath of fresh air at the club.

He describes the decision of Draper  to commit his future to the club as a “massive boost.”

Smith, who believes his current squad is “right up there” with any during his time at the club, said: “There has been a connection with the support. We have always had people love the team but now people have fallen in love with the club again.”

He also talks about the impact of Kurt Gidley, Chris Sandow and the worrying number of injuries not just at Warrington but in the game.

Now the longest serving coach in Super League Smith describes his seven years at the Wolves as “the most enjoyable of my career.”
