LOCAL schools teamed up with Stockton Heath Parish Council to ensure the village was fit for the queen.

Youngsters from Stockton Heath Primary School, St. Thomas’ Primary school and students and staff from Appleton College joined forces to “clean for the queen” in and near the village centre.

The younger children designed posters which are on display in the Forge while the college students performed a thorough spring clean around the Village.

Following th eclean-up operation members of the Stockton Heath Parish Council, students and teachers delivered leaflets to traders, visitors and residents to encourage them to help keep the village clean.
